On May 13, 2022, the IEEE Consumer Technology Society (CTSoc) and the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers - Korea (IEIE) signed the Sister Society Memorandum of Understanding agreement. The MOU was signed by Prof. Wahab Almuhtadi, IEEE CTSoc President and Prof. Seung Woo Seo, IEIE President during the Signing Ceremony on May 13, 2022 at the IEIE Headquarter in Seoul, South Korea.

The 2023 IEEE Masaru Ibuka Consumer Technology Award Recipient: Dr. Ken Sakamura

IEEE, the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for humanity, has announced the 2023 IEEE Technical Field Award Recipients (TFAs). These recipients have impacted technologies, such as, OLED display screens, Diagnoses and Treatment of Cancer, Renewable Energy, Cloud and Networking Computing, and more.
